Real Poll Herefords
Foundation bull was Chapelton 1 Heritage. We showed him for three years winning Bull and Poll Bull of the Year award in 1995. He is still with us aged 15yrs but we have gradually run out of cows for him to server. Last year he served 2, both in calf.
Klondike 707B-15D
Looking to improve teat size, placement and milk supply we finally brought over from Canada semen from Klondike. He has done what was expected and produced large framed cows with neat udders. Some semen has been sold to other breeders and there are a few straws available from the Hereford Cattle Society.

Purchased at foot with his mother in 2000, loaned out to one of our bull customers when his bull injured it's back. We did not use him full time until 2004. All his cows are in calf. He has produced some well muscled bulls and heifers.
On a winter feed of restricted silage with the cows he looks impressive with very good hindquarter muscle and a broad flat back.
